A: We NEVER discuss or pass on our clients information to anyone else outside of our organisation. We have a legal duty to ensure your information is kept confidential. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), our registration number is Z2378544.

Q: How do I instruct a Private Detective?

A: Firstly we offer a free no obligation telephone consultation so that we fully understand your situation. We then explain exactly how we can help and what is involved.

Q: How much will my investigation cost?

A: Every assignment is bespoke so therefore we cannot list prices on our website. Our fee is agreed during the consultation stage.

Q: How do I pay for a Private Detective?

A: The easiest and most commonly used method is to pay by bank transfer. We also accept all major debit and credit cards. Once our fee has been agreed, no further funds will be debited without your prior consent.

Q: How do I know I can trust your company to do the work?

A: North Court Investigations are one of the UK’s most respected firms of private investigators. The company founder, Matt Thomas, is a Full Member of the Association of British Investigators. He is also past Vice-Chairman of the World Association of Professional Investigators. He has appeared on ITV and BBC TV discussing the investigation industry. North Court also welcome the potential licensing of private investigators in England and Wales.

Q: Will you break the law to get information?

A: NO we never break the law while working on any assignment.

Q: Why should I choose your company over one of your competitors?

A: A very good question.  We have seen many investigation companies set up, only to see them disappear again, almost as quickly as they appeared. We have been trading successfully for many years. We are members of the Association of British Investigators, endorsed by the Law Society of England & Wales and are the approved supplier for several businesses and authorities.  All of our staff are qualified, experienced and bound by contracts and strict confidentiality and non-disclosure policies.

Q: I don't want anyone to know I am using a private investigator. Will you call or send documents to my home without my knowledge?

A: Absolutely not! When you instruct us we will discuss with you exactly how we are to get in touch with you and when. We will never send anything to your address without prior consent.

Q: Will your company name or details show on any of my statements?

A: No. Our trading name of North Court Investigations will not show up on any statements, no matter what method of payment you choose to pay with, allowing you that extra peace of mind.

Q: Do North Court Investigations have professional indemnity insurance?

A: Yes, we have all relevant insurance policies in place, in line with all industry standards.
